As a romance travel designer, I love helping my clients to plan the perfect honeymoon or destination wedding – what a nice surprise this last couple of weeks I have been blessed be invited to attend the 17th Annual Sandals Resorts S.T.A.R Awards held at Sandals Ocho Rios , where it was announced that I am Tennessee’s newest member of the Chairman’s Royal Club celebrating the top producing agents for Sandals Resorts also Honeymoons Inc.  was awarded  Best of the Best – Southeast Region.

Nashville, TN 12/1/18 – Sandals Resorts International, voted World’s Leading All-Inclusive Company for 23 consecutive years, has recognized local travel agent Linda Dancer and Honeymoons, Inc. for their outstanding achievements at the 17th annual Sandals Travel Agency Recognition (S.T.A.R) Awards held recently at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort.

This prestigious event honoring travel agencies from across the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Latin America awards top travel agencies for not only their exemplary sales performance and marketing expertise but for their commitment to using their extensive product knowledge of the world’s best Luxury Included® resorts in creating dream vacations for their clients.

Honeymoons, Inc. awards included: Best of the Best and Linda Dancer is Tennessee’s newest member of Chairman’s Royal Club, in addition she is also a Sandals Resorts Platinum Wedding Specialist.

The 17th Annual S.T.A.R. I then traveled back to Jamaica this past weekend to attend the Jamaica Tourist Board White Affair where I received an award for Top 50 Travel Specialist Awards.

JAMAICA TOURIST BOARD CELEBRATES TOP TRAVEL AGENTS AT ANNUAL WHITE AFFAIR GALA IN MONTEGO BAY

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – December 21, 2018 – The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) for the seventh consecutive year rewarded its top selling Jamaica Travel Specialists with a three-night getaway at Jamaica’s newest property, Excellence Oyster Bay. The getaway which included tours, world-class dining and shopping, culminated with the “All White Affair” gala that recognized the top performing agents from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Anthony Tucker of All Inclusive Outlet in Georgetown, KY who emerged the top booker this year, received his special award from Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett. He booked a total of 22,456 room nights while the 50th ranked agent, also came in strong with a total of 11,112 room nights.

In his remarks, Minister Bartlett thanked the agents for their commitment in selling Jamaica. The top 50 agents booked 164,145 room nights, collectively for the year. He noted that the destination has secured 89,000 new airline seats from the United States this winter, adding that 2019 is shaping to be another great year for Jamaica with work set to begin on some 6,000 new rooms.

Jamaica’s A One Love Rewards Program serves as a dedicated training platform for the travel agent community to become certified experts on the destination. The program guides agents through vibrant, picturesque online pages that provide insider knowledge about the island. It also takes the travel agent community into the heart of the destination showcasing the island’s rich history.

These awards an honors would not be possible without my amazing clients, so I just wanted to take a few moments to say thanks for making this possible for me.
