Sandals Grande Riviera is now Sandals Ochi Beach Resort

Leave it to Sandals Resorts to take a great resort and make it even better. Following a multi-million dollar renovation Sandals Resorts International (SRI) announces that Sandals Grande Riviera will be know as  Sandals Ochi Beach Resort, and the  newly revamped resort offers a dynamic beach experience complete with stylish beach club vibe with new unique Gourmet Discovery Dining experiences.  The re-launching of Sandals’ largest and newest Jamaica resort offers repeat guest to this resort like myself virtually a brand new resort to explore.

Accomodations offer guest a new level of luxury at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort with completely renovated rooms for Luxury, Club Level or Butler Suites in the All-Butler Village, including Love Nest Dream Suites “Butler Village Honeymoon Romeo & Juliet Sanctuary One Bedroom Villa Suites with Private Pool” shown in photos below.

Other enhancements include restyling at Sandals Ochi Beach Club with new furniture and a chic deck lounge designed for seclusion and scenic view where guest will enjoy a beach party by day and romantic outdoor lunge in the evening.  New daily experiences  will include themes such as Sexy Sundays, Caribbean Carnivale Beach Party, Beach Jouvert, Throwback Thursdays and Ultra Sizzle Pool Party complete with a bonfire, guest DJs and fireworks. Weekly events such as Jamaica Day, Hot White and my favorite “Choc it Up” Night and Chocolate Buffet  and so must more.

Guest will now arrive at the Great House (formerly the Manor) and find a beautiful new porte cochere area and redecorated arrival lobby . To make getting around the resort more convenient a new transportation hub called TheHop  where guest can grab a jitney ride and be on the beach in a matter of minutes.  A new style of landscaping throughout the resort includes new furniture, new lighting, Zen ponds and signature fire pits.

Sandals Resorts are known for their Gourmet Discovery Dining program and the dining opportunities at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort will not disappoint, along with repeat guest favorites found at many Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean guest of  Sandals Ochi Beach Resort will discover new dining concepts for the entire brand such as southern, tapas and a speakeasy bar.  Restaurants include Tapas on the Riviera (international), Le Gourmand (high-end French), Sky(beachside seafood restaurant), The Southern Table (Southern soulful cooking) Ocean (beach bar), Jerk Shack (authentic Jamaican Jerk) and The Rabbit Hole(a new speakeasy bar). Sandals Ochi Beach Resort will serve Robert Mondavi Wines(new partnership for the brand) so guests can look forward to expanded complimentary wine list as well as enhanced Manager’s Wine List and on-resort programming including wine pairings and wine tastings.

I spent my  25th wedding anniversary at Sandals Grande Riviera last year and have already made arrangments to return again this year to see all the new and exciting things at this amazing resort.
