In June, I was honored to be named a Global Piton Award Winner, for the island of Saint Lucia, for the fourth year in a row and was honored to once again attend the award ceremony and gala.
This year’s gala theme was Bridgerton Regency Ball and it as so much sun seeing everyone in their regency finery – Sandals Grande Saint Lucian events team did an incredible job with the decor as always.
This coveted title means I have “earned the rare distinction of being one of the top 15 travel advisors in the USA and top 35 agents in the world for the island of Saint Lucia.” We are proud that once again our agency Honeymoons, Inc. has two winners Steve Simmons was also a winner amongst the top 15 travel advisors in the USA.
This year was special for me, because I also was awarded this gorgeous custom award by the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority for Excellence in Saint Lucia Social Media Engagement in 2024– this was such a surprise, I just love the island and sharing over my social media platforms. I was so stunned, it literally brought me to tears.
On Monday we participated in “The Amazing Road Trip” adventure – proud to say I was on winning team Darren Sammy and received a lovely gift sponsored by Harry Edwards Jewelers, St. Lucia and each time I wear my lovely custom bracelet by Dune Jewelry, I will fondly remember how much fun we had this day. We met on the beach as strangers from many different places, but we worked together as a team under the leadership of team Captain Clare and SLTA rep Dexter and we won! We had so much fun visiting local schools – giving out loads of school supplies along the way, the day ended with a ride back to our host hotel Sandals Grande St Lucian in the new double decker bus experience.
