Overwater Bungalows at Sandals Royal Caribbean

As a Sandals Platinum Specialist – from the first rumors of Mr. Stewart choosing to build the first overwater bungalows and villas in Jamaica I could not wait to have the opportunity to experience this for myself.  The villas and bungalows have been so popular since they opened, it took a while before I could confirm my stay – I wanted to share a little about my experience with you.

Your experience begins  with a personal airport greeting/ expedited immigration and then private luxury transfers from the airport to the resort. Once we arrived on the resort, we were escorted to the dock to take our private water taxi out to our bungalow – the video above captures our short trip over to the private island.  Our wonderful butler Kelene took care of every detail of making our wedding anniversary special.

In addition to elite Butler Service and amazing views each bungalow is equipped with a smart TV and large ceiling fan, bathrooms with his and her sinks and backlit mirrors, walk in rain shower, 24 hour room service, custom crafted king beds with dreamy soft linens and plush pillows, snorkel gear that you can use straight from your deck, glass panels in the floor allow you to see the marine live below your bungalow, comfy lounge chairs on your expansive deck as you can see above, this was my favorite place to hang out, private outdoor tranquility soaking tub , over-water hammock, outdoor shower and a bistro set for two-we would order breakfast from room service and enjoy it out on our patio – the resort has 8 amazing restaurants we enjoyed dinner there and also took advantage of stay at one/play at three and enjoyed dinner at Sandals Montego Bay one evening.
