These resorts are situated on the best beaches and offer a variety of accommodations. The resorts in Miches the up and coming area of Dominican Republic take advantage of unspoiled beauty the jungle and beaches. The drive from the Punta Cana airport to Miches is about 1.5 hours, but a beautiful drive through the country.

3. W Punta Cana
W Punta Cana – is a bold, adults-only resort – the first-ever all-inclusive property in the W Hotels Brand, located in Uvero Alto, near Punta Cana – guests here will find all king bed rooms and suites, including swim-up and private plunge pool suites, lively music and nightlife, a speakeasy called 33 1/3 tucked behind the humidor shop, high-end amenities, vibrant Wet-Deck pool overlooking the golden sands of Uvero Alto beach, massive The Away Spa, dining venues offer rooftop sushi and global street food rather than repetitive buffets found at many all-inclusive resorts.
Guests of W Punta Cana will find a specific, bold aesthetic with local touches from the soaring main lobby to local touches like Samana marble and local Larimar stone in the bathrooms- anything but traditional all-inclusive will be found here at W Punta Cana. One surprise at this resort is that all rooms have king beds / one king or two king beds which is unheard of.
4. Secrets Tides- Punta Cana
Secrets Tides – Punta Cana – new luxury adults only resort- located along 800 feet of palm-studded Ubero Alto Beach – Guest will enjoy two expansive infinity pools and three outdoor hot tubs plus an exclusive preferred club pool for guest booked in that room category. A world class spa, fitness center and nightly entertainment was some of the best I have enjoyed anywhere.
5. St. Regis Cap Cana Resort
St. Regis Cap-Cana Resort – although not all-inclusive, this is one of the prettiest resorts I have ever seen. Located within the exclusive enclave of Cap Cana, overlooking the Punta Espada Golf Club and the pristine shores of Carey Bay. The sophisticated luxury of this resort begins with the beautiful lobby, a waterfall wall, incredible staircase. Discover eight distinctive culinary options including the signature restaurant Nina. Exclusive spaces like The Amber Room cigar bar and the St Regis Bar. Rooms and suites are lovely with careful attention to all details taking influence from the natural surroundings. Rejuvenate at the St. Regis spa- weddings here are a magical affair.
COMING SOON – Moon Palace The Grand- Punta Cana – is officially scheduled to welcome its first guest on June 1, 2026-with a staggered opening plan starting with the resort and primary water park – certain features like the casino and the Wonderwoods restaurant will open later in the year.
**this will be a really large resort at over 2,000 oversized suites, but will offer guest multiple pools, a massive water park for kids and teens, a Greg Norman-designed 18-hld golf course and one of the largest spas in the Dominican Republic
Guest will enjoy 19 distinct restaurants, numerous bars and nightly entertainment venues. Weddings will be a large focus of this resort and I can’t wait to share the wedding venues with my clients.
