Antigua Honeymoons

As the welcome sign at the airport says  “The Beach Is Only The Beginning” , such a true statement. It is said that there is a different beach for everyday of the year (on my bucket list to prove this statement) Antigua  also offers visitors the perfect setting to explore and discover , with natural beauty and so much history. Whether you are celebrating your destination wedding, honeymoon, milestone anniversary or just getting away from it all for a few days, Antigua will not disappoint you. With white-sand beaches fringed by the blues of the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation it will not take you very long to discover why Antigua is the perfect idyllic hideaway for couples.

Antigua has so many different types of activities to do, one of my personal favorites is to go to the Sunday Night Party at Shirley Heights Lookout – I admit it is crowded, but so much fun- BBQ burgers, chicken and so forth for sell, cash bar, steel drum band playing – but the thing I enjoy the most is being with the local folks, watching families spend time together, the sunsets from here are amazing. If you are staying on the island over a Sunday night be sure and ask your concierge about the cost of transportation from your resort, there is a an $8 entrance as well, but worth it. In addition as mentioned above the beaches are amazing, go horseback riding, enjoy the natural beauty of the islands, water sports, Nelson’s Dockyard National Park .
