As if Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa on the Hawaiian island of O’ahu was not wonderful to begin, several improvements to the resort have recently been made including:
** A new family pool and new kids’ splash zone in the already popular Waikolohe Valley water play area
** Two new quick-service dining locations ** New adults-only area featuring the Wailana Pool gives adults looking for a little privacy on a family-friendly resort a perfect place to relax- Although the Wailana Pool Bar isn’t a swim-up, the secluded location near the Laniwai Spa makes up for this especially at Happy Hour.**Enhanced water-slides one a volcano-inspired, fast and covered experience / the other slow and open air– be prepared to wait in line as these are very popular**New infinity pool and grotto at Ka Maka Landing adds a touch of glamour to the property.
Menehune Bridge
The Menehune Bridge was already a blast for children, but toddlers will now also enjoy playing at the new Keiki Cove– encircled by lounge chairs for attentive parents, allowing parents with different ages of children to keep an eye on those playing on the Menehune Bridge and those that are younger and would best be suited for Keiki Cove or for a change of pace everyone can grab an inner-tube and take a ride down the lazy river of the Waikolohe Stream.
** More value price point food options have been added for families – The Ulu Café – take away alternative as is Little Opihi – a beachfront option. Improvements to the Public Spaces include : ** New Luxury retail store ** Expansion and additions to the lawn area for events such as the Starlit Hui Show a guest favorite, weddings, and group events.
